Key overnight developments:

👉 Trump announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire. U.S. media reported that Qatar brokered the ceasefire agreement.

👉 Iran launched ballistic missiles at the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar — the largest American military base in the Middle East. There were no casualties. President Donald Trump publicly thanked Iran for “giving us early notice, which ensured no one was killed or injured.” He described Iran’s attack as “very weak.”

👉 The White House notified Congress about the recent bombing campaign against Iran. In a letter signed by President Trump, it stated:
“The attack was carried out to advance the vital national interests of the United States and for the collective self-defense of our ally, Israel, by eliminating Iran’s nuclear program.”
